AUDITION PROCESS
What makes OnStage unique? Dancers do not attend auditions for specific pieces or choreographers.
Dancers audition to receive a Level (1-3) in any of our four main dance styles: Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Commercial.
Dancers who have received a level are then invited to our Company Meeting and Showcase. At this event, our choreographers present their pieces to the company and dancers are welcome to sign up for any piece at, or below, their designated level.
All audition sessions will include learning choreography. Some sessions may also include across the floor progressions, improvisation, freestyle or centerwork, depending on the style.

SEASON 31 SCHEDULE
Season 31 Rehearsals will be held from October 21, 2026 - January 13, 2027.
In addition to rehearsals, attendance is mandatory for the following dates:

Company Meeting & Showcase: Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 1:00pm in Charlestown

Company Meeting & Run-Through: Saturday, December 5, 2026 (time & location TBD)

Tech Rehearsal: Thursday, January 14, 2027 - starting at 5:30pm in Watertown

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, January 15, 2027 - starting at 5:30pm in Watertown

Show Day: Sunday, January 17, 2027 - full day, starting at 11:00am in Watertown
(There is no scheduled committment on Saturday, January 16, 2027.)
